MO Firefighter, 31, Killed by Suspected Drunk Driver

Mansfield Firefighter Justin Sanders, 31, was killed and police officer Michael Bryson was injured after being hit by a suspected drunk driver Saturday morning.

Sanders was doing a ride-along with the police when the incident occured.

Mansfield police say the two were parked in a cruiser along Business Route 60 just after midnight doing traffic patrol when a driver smashed into their vehicle.

Office Bryson is expected to recover from his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle faces charges of drunk driving.
