EL DORADO COUNTY, California — A retired California firefighter missing since June 7 has been found.

A family friend had told FOX 40 that between the stress brought on by COVID-19 and Turner’s battle with PTSD, Turner needed some rest.

After a plea for help from Turner’s daughter, social media was instrumental in finding him.

One person reported seeing Turner in Knights Landing and another person reported seeing him eating a burger at their diner.

The family friend says Turner didn’t even realize how many days had gone by or that he reported as missing.

Turner was found wearing the same clothes as when he went missing.
