BALTIMORE — A mayday was transmitted during a structure fire in Baltimore this afternoon according to WBAL.

Firefighters responded to the 2600 block of Edmondson Avenue at approximately 12:45 p.m. for a house fire.

Firefighters reported smoke showing from a possibly abandoned two-story rowhome.

During fireground operations a firefighter either fell through the floor into the basement or became trapped in the basement and a mayday was called.
