NORTH AMITYVILLE, New York – The Nassau Daily Voice reports that North Amityville Fire Department Chief Daryll Rollins has suddenly passed away.

Rollins died on Wednesday following a response to an early morning alarm.

No details were released regarding Rollins death and the alarm.

The department made a public announcement of Rollins’ death on Facebook.
