Check out the Laredo Fire Department’s Impel® 107’ Ascendant® with Deputy Chief Chris Perez. This is the second 107’ Ascendant aerial ladder the department will be adding to their fleet. The single axle ladder allows for the department to maneuver easier and the TAK-4® independent front suspension provides the department with a smooth ride through the streets of Laredo, TX. Several storage compartments were customized specifically for the needs of the department when on scene. The transverse compartment allows for easy access to the stokes basket, rope rescue technician equipment, or water technician equipment from both sides of the truck.
