Simba, an 11-year-old Golden Retriever, strayed onto an icy pond Thursday.
When her owner realized she has stayed out longer than normal, she went looking and discovered the dog had fallen through the ice on a pond.
Kansas City firefighters were able to quickly rescue the dog and return her home.
