INDIANAPOLIS — Three Indianapolis firefighters were injured Tuesday evening while fighting a house fire, according to FOX59.

Firefighters responded to the 3000 block of South Keystone Avenue before 6:15 p.m. and found a home with heavy smoke and fire showing.

Indianapolis and Beech Grove firefighters had the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes.

During fireground operations two firefighters sustained burns to their ears.

A third firefighter was injured when he fell through the attic floor.

One occupant was slightly injured.

Four occupants have been displaced by the fire.  The cause is believed to be combustibles too close to a space heater.
