Indiana Firefighters Rescue Man Pinned under Car

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Caught on camera, Wayne Township firefighters rescue a man who was trapped under a car.

They say he was working on the car when it fell on him, pinning his legs.

Firefighters quickly jacked up the car and he was able to scoot out with their help. Thankfully, his injuries were not serious.

Wayne Township Fire Department – WTFD responded to a person trapped under a car this afternoon on Greendale Ln. Crews arrived and found a man with his legs pinned under the cars suspension system. The gentleman had been working on the brakes when the suspension fell. Crews quickly lifted the car utilizing our hydraulic spreaders and removed him. He sustained only minor injuries. (The man authorized us to use this video.) We are grateful he is going to be ok.
