Georgia Firefighter Found Dead in Firehouse

ROSWELL, Georgia — Fire departments in Roswell and McDonough are mourning the loss of a firefighter.

CBS46 reported that Roswell Fire Chief Ricky Burnette issued a statement announcing the death of firefighter John Kevin Cash.

Firefighter Cash’s body was discovered at approximately 10:00 a.m. during an inspection of his room at the station.

The Roswell Police Department is investigating the incident

Cash was a part-time firefighter with Roswell Fire. He was also a member of McDonough Fire Department since 2001.
