DELANO, California — Funeral services were held for Porterville Fire Captain Ramon Figueroa, one of two firefighters recently killed while fighting a library fire, as reported by ABC 23 News.
Captain Figueroa and Firefighter Patrick Jones died on February 18 while fighting a fire in the Porterville library.
Authorities have charged two 13-year old boys with setting the fire.

The service was held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and was followed by a procession to the North kern Cemetery District where Figueroa was laid to rest.
A joint service for Captain Figueroa and Firefighter Jones is scheduled for Friday at the Porterville Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m.
