Freedom Trip Coin Commemorates 75th Anniversary of D-Day

Freedom Trip Coin

A group of U.S. fire service and law enforcement bagpipers and drummers–composed of various bands in Colorado, Texas, Tennessee, Maryland, Massachusetts, Florida, and Virginia–will be headed to Europe at the end of this month (May 2019) to play in memorial tribute ceremonies in and around U.S. World War II cemeteries. The tour will include sites in Brussels, Bastogne, Luxembourg, and then Normandy, commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

They’ll wrap up the trip, by making the final toast on Omaha beach, where they’ll pass one of these limited edition D-Day challenge coins around the group–to have each member touch it–then have one of the children toss it into the ocean.

$20.00 a coin – Plus $5.00 for shipping. (Up to 4 coins in one package)
