Former Veteran Tucson Firefighter Dies

Rogers served the department for over 30 years

TUCSON — A veteran Tucson firefighter passed away on Wednesday, according to KVOA and the Tucson Fire Fighters Association.

Roger Tamietti was a veteran of the department for over 30 years, serving as a firefighter, paramedic, and captain.

Tamietti was also president of the Tucson Fire Fighters Association from July 2006 until his retirement in December 2015.
