For Third Time in a Week Houston (TX) Has a Fire Truck Rammed at Accident Scene

A Houston fire truck was damaged Monday afternoon when a car slammed into it as firefighters worked an accident.

The crash occurred at 3:35 p.m. in the 13000 block of the Gulf Freeway at the freeway entrance. The driver of the car was injured in the crash and taken to a hospital.

No firefighters were injured in the crash. The fire department noted that it is the third time in a week a piece of apparatus has been struck while at a fire scene, KTRK reports.
