A family of five were rushed to the hospital after a boat explosion on Long Island Friday,.
Great Neck Alert Fire Department says they responded to reports of a boat explosion at the Stepping Stone Marina in Kings Point at about 4:30 p.m. With assistance from FDNY, the fire was extinguished. Good Samaritans assisted in bringing the family to shore.
A five-year-boy suffered broken bones in the incident; other family members suffered minor burns.
