Fireground Operations: Florida House Fire

Jake Lunceford – On October 27, 2017 the Orange City Fire Department (OCFD), Deltona Fire Department (DFD), Volusia County Fire Rescue (VCFR) and Volusia County EMS (VC EMS) responded to E Landsdowne Ave for a reported structure fire. 

Crews worked for approximately 1 hour, one patient was transported by EMS to the hospital for smoke inhalation. 

OCFD: Engine 67, Battalion 67, Chief 67 (Fire Chief), Chief 68 (Deputy Chief), FM 67 (Fire Marshall) 

DFD: Engine 65, Battalion 61 

VCFR: Engine 32, Battalion 30 

VC EMS: Medic 243 (DeLand FD Engine 83 and DeBary FD Tender 33 were dispatched but cancelled while en route) 

0:00 – OCFD Battalion 67 responding (RIDE ALONG) 

4:18 – OCFD Battalion 67 arriving on scene
