
The 4K Guy -Fire / Police / EMS – At 9h30 pm last night SIM crews responded to the report of a chimney fire with flames showing at the roof level.
The incident happened on Saddlewood Ave and Westfield Ave in the Pointe-Claire suburb of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The house was apparently occupied and had people in it at the time of the fire.
A ladder was elevated and crews cut branches along the way up to reach the roof. Fire fighters conducted a roof and interior attack, preventing further spreading of the flames.
The fire was knocked down in less than 30 minutes and was not elevated to a high alarm.
Emergency personnel faced frigid temperatures tonight and battled the blaze at -15 Celsius. While the intervention reached its later stage, apparatuses 120 and 130 were called and requested to respond to another fire in Rosemont.
