Firefighters in Evanston (IL) Reach Agreement with City About COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate

As fire departments around the country continue to be riled by COVID-19 vaccination requirements, firefighters in the City of Evanston reached an agreement with the city’s leaders about how to handle vaccination requirements.

CBS Chicago reports that under a memorandum of understanding with the firefighters’ union, all employees will either obtain a vaccination or submit twice-weekly test results of their COVID-19 status.
