Firefighters Fall Through Floor in Washington House Fire

KENT, Washington — A Puget Sound firefighter escaped serious injury after falling through a floor during a house fire Thursday morning.

ILoveKent.net reported that firefighters responded to a house fire in the 23400 block of 116th Avenue SE and knocked down fire from the outside before making entry.

While doing a search of the first floor two firefighters fell through a hole in the floor.

One firefighter was able to free himself. The other was caught in wires. 

The trapped firefighter was freed in less than five minutes without injury.
