
Two commercial structures on fire

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WUSA9) – Fire crews battled a 2-alarm fire in Annapolis Monday morning.
Anne Arundel County fire officials said the incident was reported around 4:15 a.m. on the 100 block of Duke of Gloucester Street.
They said firefighters arrived at the scene and found a three-story historic building with fire showing on all three floors.
Crews had to evacuate a home next to the fire during their efforts.
Fire officials said a total of 55 firefighters from Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and Naval Academy were called to the scene to help knock out the flames.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
An Annapolis fire official told WUSA9 that there were no sprinklers in the building and they are still working to figure out if there were any alarms.
At this time the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
