Fire on Plane at Boston (MA) Logan Airport Extinguished

Firefighters extinguished a small fire on a United Airlines 737 at Boston’s Logan Airport on Tuesday.

A small generator at the back of the plane caught fire while the plane waited at the gate to be readied to depart to San Francisco, WCVB reports.

No one was on the plane at the time of the fire, which aviation experts characterized as a minor one.
