Baltimore firefighters battled a fire in a seven-story abandoned brewery on Thursday, the latest abandoned building to burn in the city.
The call to the fire at the former Eigenbrot Brewery on Willard Street came in at around 9:30. The fire went to three alarms as water access initially slowed the firefighting efforts.
The fire underscores the problem the city has with vacant building. Last week three Baltimore firefighters died fighting a fire at a vacant rowhome.
