SAVANNAH, Georgia — Firefighters are battling a construction site fire in Savannah, according to WSAV.

The fire involves the Eastern Wharf hotel development off General McIntosh Boulevard.

Savannah Mayor Van Johnson told WSAV there were no fatalities or injuries.

The Savannah Fire Department believes the fire began on the fifth floor.
