Fire Burns Miami (FL) Flea Market

A fire Thursday at Miami’s Tropicana Flea Market killed many animals and injured a man.

The Miami-Dade Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the flea market at to 2951 NW 36th St. at about 5 p.m. By 6:20 p.m., the department sent more than 25 pieces of apparatus to the scene.

The fire is believed to have started in a food truck and quickly spread to nearby structures.
