FDNY Adds 17 Names to World Trade Center Memorial Wall

NEW YORK — The FDNY added the names of 17 members who died of illnesses related to their work in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center to the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall at fire department headquarters.

The event was attended by Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, First Deputy Commissioner Robert Turner, Chief of Department James Leonard and family members of the 17 added to the memorial. Their names are listed below:

The addition of these names now raised the number of those who had died of illnesses related to their work during and after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks to 127.
