Excelsior Springs (MO) House Fire Injures Two Firefighters

Two Excelsior Springs firefighters were injured Monday in a house fire; one treated at the scene and the other taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening smoke inhalation.

The fire broke out shortly after 3 p.m. at a two story home was located on NE 136th Street.

When crews arrived smoke and flames were coming from the roof and the garage was completely involved.

No residents of the home were injured in the fire.
