A lithium-ion battery in an e-bike caught fire Saturday and killed a young girl.

The fire started on the top floor of a three story home around 7:30 a.m. on 130th Street. The little girl, Stephanie Villa Torres, was home with her brother and father when the fire broke out.

Both the father and brother were hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, CBS New York reports.
