
Firefighters found neighbors trying to get inside

ST. LOUIS, Missouri — St. Louis firefighters rescued a disabled man from his burning home early Wednesday morning as reported by KMOV.com.
Firefighters responded to the alarm in the 3000 block of Caroline Street at approximately 2:15 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they saw neighbors trying to make entry into the burning structure.
Once firefighters went inside, they located and rescued a disabled man who was stuck in his power chair.
St. Louis Fire Department Captain Garon Mosby told KMOV that firefighters located and removed the man as the first hoseline was being brought inside.
Officials say the man was critically injured.
The fire had extended to a nearby home. No one in that home was injured.
One firefighter was injured and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
