DC Fire and EMS is investigating a fight that broke out at the scene of a call on Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to Florida and North Capitol for a man who had climbed underneath a bus.
When firefighters were trying to help the man, WUSA9 reports, the man became violent and began punching firefighters, touching off a skirmish.
Video posted to social media shows firefighters and police wrestling with the man. The firefighter’s union said that it is aware of the video, but had no comment, Fox 5 reports.
DC Fire and EMS said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fight. WUSA9 reports six firefighters are on administrative leave due to the inquiry. The man involved in the fight was facing an assault charge, but that charge has reportedly been dropped.
