WASHINGTON (ABC7) – A large fire hit the Embassy of Ecuador building in D.C. overnight, leaving two firefighters in the hospital, according to authorities.
D.C. Fire officials reported the two-alarm fire at around 12:23 a.m. Wednesday at a building at 15th and Euclid St NW.
The fire department says that there was a “heavy” fire on the roof of the building and it took “aggressive” interior work to put the fire out in that part of the embassy.
