Corpus Christi is considering charging fees for calls dispatched to neighboring districts outside the city.
The fee proposal stems from the city fire department serving neighboring areas that are not within the city limits.
Advocates for those neighborhoods say fire and ems services should be paid for through the taxes that property owners pay to the county.
