STANISLAUS COUNTY, California — Firefighters battled a fire involving a large chicken warehouse Thursday afternoon, according to CBS Sacramento and other news outlets.

Firefighters from several departments responded to the scene in Stanislaus shortly after 1:00 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
