Boston EMT Stabbed Multiple Times Inside Ambulance

BOSTON (WCVB) – An EMT was stabbed while responding to an incident on New Chadron Street in downtown Boston Wednesday afternoon.

The female EMT was stabbed multiple times inside of an ambulance by a patient according to information obtained by 5 Investigates.

The EMT, a 14-year veteran of the department, was rushed to nearby Massachusetts General Hospital and was reported to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

“Our first responder family faces dangers every day,” Boston Police Chief William Gross said. “There is no such thing as a routine call.” MORE
