Arsonist Strikes Houston (TX) Church During Sunday Services

A fire broke out at the First Baptist Church of Genoa Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to the building at 12717 Almeda Genoa Rd in the southeast area of Houston to extinguish the fire that started in the portion of the building opposite the sanctuary.

The fire was extinguished before it reached the main sanctuary. LLN shared this video of the church fire.

Church members told news reporters that the building is not insured due to the cost. They reported via Facebook that the fire was arson.
