Armed Man Burglarizes Louisiana Firehouse

TERRYTOWN, La. (NOLA.com) – The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who stole fire equipment and other property from a Terrytown Volunteer Fire Department station.

Surveillance cameras were rolling when the burglar pulled out a pistol and pointed it towards a door leading from the vehicle bay into the station house, said Lt. Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office.
