An Albertville firefighter was injured in a house fire Wednesday afternoon and taken to University of Alabama Birmingham Burn Center. .
The firefighter’s injuries are not life threatening, but are serious, WHNT reports. The firefighter is expected to remain hospitalized through the weekend.
The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
