11 FDNY Firefighters Hurt in Brooklyn Crash

NEW YORK — 11 firefighters were injured when their fire trucks collided while responding to an alarm in Brooklyn Tuesday evening.

The collision involved Engine Company 243 and Ladder Company 113.

One pedestrian was also injured in the crash, according to WABC.

The firefighters were responding to a report of smoke in Crown Heights and collided at the intersection of Rodgers Avenue and Crown Street at approximately 10:00 p.m.

One of the fire trucks ended up on a sidewalk.

The 11 firefighters suffered minor injuries.
