Four injured in California apartment fire

ONSCENE TV – 09.24.2019 | 11:00 PM | STANTON – Four residents suffered smoke inhalation after a fire burned through the apartment complex they lived in, late Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a fire at the Pine Village Apartments located in the 7800 block of Lampton Avenue around 11:00 PM.

Crews arriving on scene located a two-story garden style apartment with a first floor unit engulfed in flames.

Firefighters worked to evacuate residents while dousing the flames.

At least four residents were treated on scene for injuries related to smoke inhalation but only one individual was transported to a hospital by paramedics.

Several families were displaced as a result of the fire that extended to the second-floor.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
