VA Highway Ladder Truck Wreck Sends Two to Hospital

Two people were injured in a crash involving a ladder truck on Interstate 95 south in Prince George County Friday evening.

Virginia state police said the wreck happened just south of the Carson exit around 6 p.m., WTVR reports.

The driver of the fire truck and a passenger, who was medflighted to an area hospital, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to WTVR.

The ladder truck was passing through the area, and it’s not clear if it is currently in service. It bears the name Granville Hook and Ladder, but police were still looking into who owns it.
