A September 11th Tribute

Nine Line Apparel – September 11th, 2001 – a day that will forever live in the hearts and minds of Americans everywhere. This year, on the 18th anniversary, we continue to remember the tragic events that took place in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania and the many people whose lives were lost too soon. During this series of devastating events, American heroes put the lives of others before their own to be a part of the rescue efforts. Police, firefighters and everyday people stepped up to help save lives from the wreckage and became heroes during the aftermath of the attacks. These ordinary individuals all became extraordinary that day.

For Americans, the anniversary of September 11th, 2001 is about recognizing the enormous loss experienced by all first responders, survivors and family members on this tragic day, and in the days and years that followed.

We have been lucky enough to meet John Delutro, a businessman and entrepreneur in Staten Island, New York City who owns Caffe Polermo. He recalls the events of that day, a day we will never forget. On September 11th, John went into his office like he does on every other day. He witnessed as the first plane flew across the New York skyline and commented like many others, that the pilot must have had a heart attack. At that moment no one could have imagined the scale of the attacks and how it would affect Americans for generations to come, but what we had been fearing for the longest time had come to pass.

Nine Line is proud to announce the release of “Unshaken Courage” an original documentary, on September 9th 2019.
