3/23/2021 – Bessies Rd, Gaffney, SC. Just after noon, while working at my part-time Department, Goucher-White Plains, we were dispatched for an outside structure fire in Macedonia’s area.

Car 81 arrived first establishing command and reporting two buildings with the surrounding yard on fire. Engine 13 was first due and pulled the first line just before we arrived in Engine 81 with 3.

Since I was driving I had to gear up and right before I began recording they were putting water on the fire for a very quick knockdown. The converted car sheds were enclosed and housed many chicken coops, a refrigerator and other related items.

Cherokee County, SC is a combination based fire service with at least one man at each county station during daytime-weekday hours. At Goucher-White Plains (South of Gaffney City) we have two personnel during the daytime on weekdays. Helmet camera used is the FireCam 1080 mini.
