SoCal Code 3 – Spring Valley Apartment Fire 4/4/2019

INCIDENT DETAILS: San Miguel Fire-Rescue received a call to do a Smoke Check on the 1100 block of Jamacha Lane. San Diego County Sheriff deputies were first to arrive on scene and encountered a upstairs apartment unit that had smoke showing. Deputies attempted to evacuate neighboring residents. Firefighters arrived and managed to knock the fire down within minutes. The fire was contained to the kitchen area. 2 small dogs were rescued from the unit. No other injuries were reported. The occupants of the unit were not present at the time of the fire.
