Red Lion, PA Two-Alarm Fire

Rear of the structure was heavily involved

On Thursday (3-11-21) at approximately 14:57 hours(2:57 ​p.m.) Box 77-05 was struck for a reported structure fire on East High Street between Bicking Avenue and North Church Lane.

Crews from Station 77-1 had a column seen from the station. After arriving on scene Rescue 77 advised the rear of the structure was heavily involved and requested a Working Fire Assignment.

After companies started arriving to supply water the decision was made to strike a Second Alarm Assignment bringing additional companies from throughout the Southern York County region to assist in extinguishing the blaze.

After crews worked extensively the fire was marked Under Control after over an hour into the incident.

Crews remained on the scene for over four hours to ensure the fire was completely out. No one was reported to be injured at this time and everyone got out okay.
