Perth Amboy First Responders – 11-12-18 Working Fire 2nd Alarm Address: 181 Market St 

The Department responded to a house fire at 181 Market Street at 14:34 on 11/12/18. Units arrived to find heavy fire in the basement with extension to the upper floors. The fire was contained and extinguished with two hoselines and all searches were negative. 

Responding units were E-1, E-3, E-4, T-2, C-5, C-1, C-2, C-3 & C-9. Mutual aid from Keasbey, Hopelawn & South Amboy assisted on scene. Woodbridge and Sayreville covered the city during the incident. There were no injuries reported and working smoke alarms appeared to alerted the occupants of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation my the PAFD. Thanks For Watching
