Maryland Firefighters Burned in Trailer Fire

Three burned and one injured in North East fire

NORTH EAST, Maryland – WBFF reports that four firefighters were injured while fighting fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to a dwelling fire in the 100 block of Superior Court in North East.

Three firefighters were burned and one suffered a hand injury.

Two of the burned firefighters were flown to a local hospital. The third was transported by ambulance

One firefighter suffered burns to 40 – 50% of his body.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal reported that he is in serious but stable condition.

The cause of the fire in under investigation.
