Mansfield Township (NJ) Off-Duty Firefighter Rescues Occupant in House Fire

A volunteer firefighter sprang into action when his neighbor’s house caught fire Sunday.

He kicked down the door to the home and rescued the occupant.

The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mansfield Township home. Fortunately the neighbor was home and spotted the fire and rushed to help.

Multiple agencies responded to the fire. Damage to the home was severe, and no one was injured in the fire.
