Master stream operations at a fire on Decatur Street
Firefighters from Northern Lehigh County spent the evening hours controlling a fire that destroyed a home on Decatur Street in Lynn Township.
Crews arrived to heavy fire showing and struck a 2nd alarm. Additional tankers and engine companies were requested do to the excessive heat. At one point in the fight crews evacuated the building for master stream operations.
The fire was brought under control in a couple of hours.
