Louisville (KY) Firefighters Battling Warehouse Fire in Smoketown

Louisville firefighters responded to a vacant warehouse fire in Louisville’s Smoketown neighborhood Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported around 4:10 p.m. at an abandoned warehouse at South Jackson and East Caldwell streets, WHAS reports.

At 5:15 p.m., the front of the building collapsed and the fire was still burning, with heavy black smoke showing.
