Los Angeles County Firefighter Limps Back to Firehouse After Crash

Los Angeles County firefighters were called to a crash in Willowbrook, where they rescued a driver trapped in a vehicle following a collision with a department squad. The crash occurred Sunday at around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Wilmington Avenue and East 120th Street.

A black sedan reportedly slammed into the side of the truck, which had two firefighters inside at the time, KTLA reports. One firefighter was seen limping back to a nearby fire station, located just a block away.

Emergency crews freed the driver from the sedan, and they were transported for medical care. The accident remains under investigation.
