Watch: Los Angeles (CA) Firefighters Battle Fire that Destroyed a Vacant Theater in Hollywood

Los Angeles firefighters responded to a fire in a vacant theater Wednesday morning at 1435 N Las Palmas Ave.

When firefighters arrived at the scene at about 9 a.m. they found the structure was fully involved and the roof was partially collapsed, so they adopted a defensive approach from the start.

Firefighters were working to protect neighboring buildings from the flames. The Los Angeles Fire Department Public Information Officer is expected to give an update soon.
