Los Angeles firefighters responded to a fire in a vacant theater Wednesday morning at 1435 N Las Palmas Ave.
When firefighters arrived at the scene at about 9 a.m. they found the structure was fully involved and the roof was partially collapsed, so they adopted a defensive approach from the start.
Firefighters were working to protect neighboring buildings from the flames. The Los Angeles Fire Department Public Information Officer is expected to give an update soon.
Brief update on the #GreaterAlarm structure fire in #Hollywood. Great job by @LAFD sparing the 3 adjacent structures that were in close proximity from any damage. No injury. Cause under investigation. pic.twitter.com/lRz47Kb2GN
