
ONSCENE TV – 07.30.2019 | 12:16 AM | LOS ANGELES – A fire ripped through a home believed to be vacant in the Pico-Union neighborhood, early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of Normandie Avenue around 12:16 AM. Crews arriving on scene found a single-story home with heavy smoke and fire showing and initiated an aggressive fire attack.
Within just 20 minutes firefighters had control of the blaze, dousing the majority of the flames.
Initial reports indicate the home was vacant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
